Published October 03, 2009 @ 06:52AM PT

The third annual VeganMoFo (Vegan Month of Food) has hit the blogosphere, and the bloggers and readers are buzzing with excitement over the gobs of daily recipes and photos on the way. Oh boy. See more on this year's VeganMoFo, including a crazy-long list of participating blogs over at Cake Maker to the Stars.

Now on to this past week's yummy vegan recipes:

Chickpea and Corn Chili from Happy Herbivore

Veggie-Tempeh Chili from BitterSweet

Spicy Pulled "Pork" Sliders with Honeycrisp Slaw from Rhymes with Vegan

Fiery Red Thai Curry from Vegan Dad

Rosso Bruno Tomato Chutney from Raw Epicurean

Oyster Mushroom Sushi from Vegan Dad

And finally, not a recipe, but rather a helpful vegan tool: A Handy Six-Page List of What's Vegan at Trader Joe's (PDF) -- much thanks to Elisa C for the link!

Check out what's been happening over at Madcup Cupcake lately too. There haven't been recipes provided right on the blog, but there have been lots of mouth-watering photos along with, often, links to where you can get those recipes.

A side note: not every Trader Joe's product that is vegan is on that list. TJs has a handy coding system for some items with a big fat V for vegan. Not all their vegan products have the code, and not all products with the code (Soy Chorizo and Joe-Joes Cookies for example) are on that list. So make sure you check the box of an items you covet that aren't on there :)
